About Scott Evans

Music mentor/workshop leader/teacher/percussionist/songwriter/producer/music technology facilitator. Officially a jack of all trades.

I’m based in the West Midlands working mainly with groups of young offenders, young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties across Dudley, Sandwell and Birmingham.

The main body of my work concerns itself with mentoring young people-challenging their behaviours and raising their aspirations-using music as a common starting point. I also work as an educational consultant, offering support to teachers/youth leaders across the West Midlands, giving them the skills needed to incorporate music and music technology into their organisations and institutions.
